Newsletter (December 7, 2017)

Dear all, Greetings from Hong Kong and trust you all are well. Again we would like to update you with our time from the end of August to November.

After we sent you the last newsletter, most of you would know Zara’s mum had passed away. The funeral was held in September. Things went well and quite a lot of relatives and church people came to attend the service. Then at the end of October, Timothy’s brother in New York died quite unexpectedly. He had several strokes in the past few years and the last one happened in May. He did not recover well this time and although his health was not very good we did not expect his death would come so soon. We were quite shocked when we received the news. We rushed to New York to attend his funeral and spent just a few days there before returning to Hong Kong. We did manage to see a few relatives whom we haven’t met for many years.

Because of these bereavements we did not do much in Hong Kong. Coupled with a jetlag which was very hard to shake off, we have been very tired for several weeks. We have tried to spend more time with Zara’s dad. He is coping well and his church folks are taking very good care of him. We are well now and will return to Zambia very soon.

We will return to Zambia on 4 January 2018 as SIM Zambia Field Associates. At the moment we do not know when we will finish the term. We still hope to return to Hong Kong at the end of the year. Please pray that things will go well for us and opportunities will arise as we minister to various groups in Zambia.

We wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year. Blessings.
