Dear all, We came back from Hong Kong two weeks ago. Timothy’s mum looked fine and had put on weight. She was very happy to see us but she has lost more memory since we last saw her in September. Zara’s mum had some set back in her recovery just before we returned to Hong Kong. Her condition improved about two days before we left. We hope her recovery will be back on track and she will feel better in the coming weeks.

Timothy was not feeling too well the last day we were in Hong Kong and came down with a cold and flu after we arrived home. He rested at home for several days and now is fully recovered.

We were quite busy at work for the past few days as there were some urgent matters that we needed to deal with. Otherwise the office will be gradually winding down next week and we will have a break from 24 December until 5 January. We will try to have a quiet break and take some rest at home.

We have lost three missionary families in December. All of them resigned and returned home for various reasons. These are huge losses to SIM Zambia. Please pray that God will call people to come here to serve, especially in discipleship, leadership training, youth and children’s ministry.

As the year comes to a close, we wish all of you a joyful Christmas and a blessed New Year. Please continue to pray for us and our ministries in Zambia. We can see there is spiritual warfare going on and our enemies are trying very hard to destroy God’s work here, and we need your prayer support. With Christian love.
